To create a stunning vessel for your center diamond we make it as thin and delicate as possible. To avoid the risk of making a ring too fragile, we either amend the metal in various ways to make it least noticeable or we simply cover the surface with little “flashlights” that cause the exposed surfaces to reflect light and add brightness to the otherwise dark metal - a technique called pave.
